This seems to me to likely be coming from his agent rather than the Leafs. You know the old use the Leafs and the ensuing extra media coverage to raise the price routine. Maybe I'm wrong and they really are interested, it just doesn't seem like a fit from where I sit.

If Arizona is looking to trade up I think they'd be more interested in the #4-5 pick than gutting their team for #1. Getting Tkachuk to go with Dvorak and Domi makes more sense for them.

I think if Columbus was serious about trading their pick then somebody else offers a better deal than the Leafs could put together. I think if you want to make a trade like that then Calgary is a likelier option. Beyond goaltending I'm not sure what they're after though.
