I can handle Komorov as a fourth line pk specialist who can fill in higher in case of an injury. I'd be ok with him getting resigned to play that role, I just don't trust Babcock to keep him in that role of he is resigned unfortunately. The guy should not be in the top 9 on this team.

Thanks all. Not really looking for sympathy but sometimes venting helps. The thing is I was OK with the cancer diagnosis. Dealing with it sucks but the long term outlook was very promising. The cheating was a real kick to the balls but if it wasn't for the kid I would have ditched her two years...

So how does one read this chart? Is Zaitsev bad but fun or fun and just not as good as Gardiner? Is Gardiner good and dull?

So a little more comparable to Reilly than I thought, thanks. I'm not the guy who's most up to date on advanced stats so it's hard for me to tell. I've heard some question his decision making abilities, but the same has been said about Gardiner for years too.

Not to mention the stupid emphasis on 'true north' during the anthem.

Just how good is Trouba? The impression I've always held was that he currently isn't as good as Reilly and his ceiling isn't as high as Reilly either. Is that accurate, and if so is he really worth paying more money and additional assets then just Gardiner?

I know it's into fantasy hockey territory, but that was my thought as well, some sort of three way trade centred around Trouba, JvR and Fowler. Fun things like that never happen in the NHL any more though :(

I can't believe how well he did throughout the whole thing. Only having one moment like that near the end must have been very difficult. It was hard and beautiful to watch all at the same time.

You'd think the league would have something to say about another team going with the hawks name. Chicago must have complained about it at some point. Not quite a roughrider's situation, but still not good for a world class league.
