    I hope he somehow makes it back. But watching his knee compress like that looked awful. I think it was the commentator on the TSN broadcast that described him as "being made of brisket". That was pretty funny.

    No doubt. But when you have time and space to get the puck out, and instead bank it nicely to the Washington D on the point, then graciously settle the puck onto the scorer's stick, you probably want that back.

    Yeah, I mean it though more in a lighthearted way. I think he's definitely got a place on this team, and even more value in the playoffs as things get tighter, but yeah, he's got stone hands.

    My heart wants to see another game like Thurs, but my head says Wash is over it's 1st game jitters and wins this pretty handily. That said, this team has proven me wrong all season.

    I'm not sure how one can use terms like "brutal" and "weak play" on players that put in a very solid 60 minute effort against a superior team and were beaten by a seeing eye goal.
