Truthfully, if you talk to die-hard Bruins fans, they describe Pasternak in the same way you talk about Nylander. Doesn?t play consistently hard, disappears for stretches, lazy, etc.  Pasternak is probably the better player, or at least has performed to a higher standard to this point, but...

It's just terrible.  I can't fathom that the player intended this outcome and I totally agree with you that everyone associated with this is suffering.  But, in my mind, there's no question that there was recklessness involved.

Not trying to incite anything, but have you seen the video?  Or, at least, what happened to lead to the incident?  Before you develop an opinion, watch the play.  The incident happened in the middle of the ice, as Johnson is cutting at the blueline.  I think it absolutely warrants legal review.
