This Leafs team is still working out some stuff which is a bit concerning this late in the season but the Florida defence and goaltending is beatable.  Not having Ekblad is hurting their depth a bit obviously.  Their forward depth doesn't seem to be as good as Toronto's either.  The Leafs just...

Makes sense.  Thanks Herman.  I see the Leafs are so close to having every player engaged like SC champions TBay and Boston when they won which has never happened  to the Leafs in all my years watching.  I don't think Nylander will ever point the points up like Marner and Matthews but he is so...

That's fair Zee.  It's just that last year and the year before there were multiple players I was concerned with compared to other playoff team lineups: Engvall would have great hustle but then randomly throw the puck in the middle of the ice causing a brutal giveaway that would either lead to...

I was counting on you brother.  You're awesome!  :)

I am actually okay with the Leafs playing anybody in the Eastern Conference.  Anybody. I have made it to my 50s and have never seen a Leafs team this well built.  There is only one player I am not absolutely content with (price/performance/playoff ready) but I won't mention him because he has...

Well that was a dominant performance against a solid team.  Their dmen really seemed to struggle with our pressure and speed.  I was disappointed when Bogosian signed a long contract with TBay but he doesn't compare to Lyubushkin. Looking forward to a healthy Leafs lineup.

Like I always say...Nylander is my favorite player almost...got in the dirty areas, etc.  Glad he's on the Leafs. Oh...not sure if anyone here or at the rink noticed but Matthews scored tonight for his 50th :)

How about: Kerfoot-Matthews-Kase Bunting-Tavares-Marner Mikheyev-Kampf-Engvall Blackwell-Spezza-Nylander

Couldn't slip that linemates comment past you huh? :D  I just find it unreal that he is playing like Dubas and Leaf fans were hoping now that he is on one of the worst teams in the NHL.

Talk about hitting... there is a LW player in Arizona that in the last 12 games has 6 goals, 38 hits and is plus 2.  No not Crouse silly...N Ritchie.  Why not in Toronto?  Coaching?  Line-mates (which I guess is related to coaching as well)? So disappointing to me that the Leafs couldn't make...

Maybe I just hate him then...rats!  :D

I don't mind the moves made this year.  Florida did some crazy payments this year but there wasn't any trade that I wish Dubas did instead of another team based on the costs vs the player except maybe the Fleury for a 2nd...if Fleury would have been willing to come to Toronto which I have never...

I can't believed he cleared.  The way he's been playing and owed $4.2 MIL next year and $4.4 the following...shocked!

I agree

I was kind of hoping for some size which he doesn't have.  So you are right there BUT he is a right hand shot I thought...

With his current experience level I think Kallgren is playing okay but having the 5 goals go past him tonight shows that he probably simply needs more time to get his bearings. He has let some bizarre rebounds out but I still prefer his style over Mrazek's style.  I hope he get's some more leash.

Yeah, I was thinking that.  This could have gone either way with a little more puck luck.  Nashville plays a heavy, playoff style game and Toronto DIDN'T get run out of the rink like would happen earlier in the year.

I blame this loss on Nylander...just because Gardiner is no longer a Leaf.

No truer words have ever been spoken!

I think we outhit and outshot them in the 2nd actually
