I'm doing a WAIT AND SEE approach this season. Let's see how the team actually looks partway through the season before we bury our knives into the team.

They could have carried 3 goalies until one of the top 2 gets hurt, which is highly likely. Anyway we'll see how it goes I guess. This is the first domino, there are more trades coming.

The Leafs are gonna need one of Akhtyamov or Hildeby to play a lot of games. What is the realistic over/under on number of games that Stolarz can play? I'll set the bar at 29.5

Also does anyone think Mats Sundin's hands are all over this? - 2 Swedes coming back! :ROFLMAO:

32 vs 27, I think Woll can eventually put it together and become a stud. Stolarz is at the age where he's gonna start going downhill in both skill and health.

I would have rather kept Woll over Stolarz ☹️

Elliot Friedman has speculated that the Leafs could be interested in Tortorella if Vegas doesn't want him back. I would not watch any games this upcoming season if he's the coach.

Such a shame, everyone in Toronto was rooting for Mitch. 😏

Just back from a week in Scotland. Still no new coach hired. Have they whittled the 60 man list down at all?

GM of the best Leafs team I ever got to see. Rest in peace Cliff.

Boudreau is 71, he's so into the Leafs he might have a heart attack on the bench, let him enjoy his later years

Hey at least they won't get too many men penalties with the glass blocking line changes

An experienced coach would ask for a CRAP LOAD of money, so I don't think the roster construction would have any bearing on whether they accept the job or not. Money makes a lot of issues go away.

Interesting theory but I'm not sure that MLSE is this organized. There are so many people in the organization you can't really control leaks unless you are only sharing info with a small, small subset of people. I suppose they could keep the zoom calls "secret" and only Chayka, Mats and Pelley...

It's almost like high school antics with these reporters. They know what each other are reporting and have to "prove" they're correct vs the other guy. Seravalli is looking to gain cred here over Friedman lol

May as well get Mats to earn his money

I love how Marner will "tell all" about his "dark times" with the Leafs IF Vegas wins the Cup. So if they lose he'll continue to suffer in silence and not take the opportunity to dunk on his old team. Got it

I used to listen to his podcast Pucks In Deep but they stopped doing it a few years back.

Sad news. He just carried the torch before game 3 for Montreal. Reporting he took his own life.
