Good to see the NHL is still a joke league.

Things I'm looking for tonight: 1. Leafs win 2. Matthews goal 3. McKenna goal 4. Marchenko goal In that order

Allow me to introduce you to the chunk thread then https://forums.tmltoday.com/threads/leafs-2026-2027-schedule-in-10-game-chunks.7416/

And we are off

Weren't they supposed to play Rielly less?

So far this feels like an exhibition game

No need to apologize my good man - Knies isn't our problem anymore!

I thought he did slim down this year? He was over 230lbs last season and reported to camp in the mid 220s this summer.

I don't see McKenna. I hope Chayka didn't throw him into the trade

But I thought Canada had open borders and was a complete hell-hole allowing all immigrants in?

Do me a solid and win tonight guys.

Funny I'm in the same boat as you. I pretty much ignored the Leafs last season as I saw pretty quickly the team and system were garbage. This is a lot change year over year, I guess we'll see if it works. I'm actually looking forward to it again.

Is Marchenko 4.75M better than Knies?

I was promised a Werenski.

It's pretty easy for Toronto based reporters to dump on the Leafs and usually be correct. I mean this organization has kicked it's fanbase in the nads year after year, so predicting they'll be bad is usually the smart money. That said, Button doesn't actually know what's he's talking about.

You guys all know me, and you should know there's no bigger Habs hater than me. I don't buy what they're selling. They had a PDO bender last season, shooting the lights out, and I don't see that continuing into this season. The Habs will be average, so let it be written, so let it be done.

I have no idea what to expect this season. I can see it going both ways, the Leafs might bounce back, monster seasons by Matthews/Nylander and significant growth from Knies, coupled with McKenna hitting the ground running and they could be top 3 in the division. On the other hand it could all...

So both games are on?? One on TSN the other on Sportsnet

I forgot a lot about this team, will be interesting to see how they look.

Honestly the media stuff has gotten out of control. Dozens of different streaming services, crazy priced packages for cable and not getting all channels, who the hell can afford it? My sister out in BC told me her internet/tv bill is like 200/month, wtf? I switched to IPTV YEARS ago and have...
