    Official Ottawa Senators Thread

It seems in past discussions that angle was laughed off by folks here when discussing Coyote's attendance. Crappy team and poor location are a deadly combination.

Keefe's in game adjustments are far superior to Babcock, it's so easy to see on a nightly basis.  Always looking for an angle.

    2019-2020 NHL Thread

When the NHL agrees to fund the next Wonen's League they need to limit the number of teams so that they are truly elite. Then put a little pressure on the networks to broadcast some games. I think it is sellable but it needs to be the best of the best from the start.

I think you are missing my point. The women are good, the women playing women games are good.  Trying to sell your product and proving it's inferior just isnt good. I doubt I can out skate Kendal but I would bet you most of the NHL allstars could when they were presented with the possibility of...

The level isn't close. I play rec hockey with a team Canada player,  we are Div 4 averaging about 40 years old and never played at high level. She can't outskate me. There have been massive improvement to the women's game but if NHL players dont ease up greatly the girls would look like kids...

We must be watching different hits as Tkachuk clearly launched up into Kassian on the video I posted.

I dont know how you cant call it charging? Tkachuk takes 4 hard strides and a second glide before lifting off sideways into the side of Kassian's neck/head. Even if you debate whether he hits the head 4 hard strides and a lift off hit should meet the definition of a charge

Wasn't the common thought in the past to be 3 strides to make the hit? Not that it matters, it happens nightly and gets called monthly.

And to be honest I'm not sure any of us know what a charge is??

Yes, and like you I couldn't find stats on how many. So I provided an example of one that was a suspension. One that imo isn't really worse as he might have traveled less distance he glided for the last half of it. Clearly a head shot though.

I didn't call them similar, just an example of a charging that the poster asked about. But as I said before Tkachuk landed after the hit on Kassian, you can only land of you went up first

The 1st hit is the charge, the 2nd hit was the one sided fight.
