Well, that's probably cause the game was on LeafsTV. (I think; I was out and missed both the game and the debate)

Not having Blake on the roster gave the Leafs the capspace to make the Franson/Lombardi trade.

I think that they should play him in those first 2-3 games, then "if he's not fully ready" (read: do it anyways), send him for the 14 days conditioning stint. Give him five weeks total.
