Had a long drawn out argument last night about this. If the Leafs do in fact make a trade for a top 6 forward that can make a difference and in the package the Leafs had to throw in 1 Dman (except for our Captain of course, or Komi 'cause of salary reasons) which guy would you most like to see...

I hope we get the same result (2 points) but hopefully this game has a little more passion and energy. That game last night was horrible to watch. Hopefully a little hatred was started last night that'll transfer to tonights game. Even if it doesn't though, we'll take the 2 points either way.

Unless one of'em starts to dominate, let'em play until they lose, then make a change. Well......... that's how I'd do it.

Personally I thought Komisarek had been our best defensive dman over the last 10 games or so before he got hurt. He's been physical and nasty when needed and not over extending himself. I actually like all our D right now... ok, except for Jeff Finger.

Damn, maybe I've had too much coffee but I expect nothing less then 3 points in the next 3 games. I'm calling for 4 though. A split with the 'Ruins and a win over the stRangers.

I've had a game day ritual for years and years that on game day I wear my Leafs jersey. The last few years and maybe the first month of this season, I didn't see a whole lot of other Leafs gear on, not even on game days. Today, a non-game day I've seen at least 6 jerseys and a boatload of Leafs...

Leafs will win 6-3. Kessel gets 3 more points and continues to make it harder and harder for us to hate him. Lupul continues his march at comeback player of the year (unless that Pittsburgh fella qualifies) and Gus let's in 3. Until Reimer comes back I think Scrivens should start all road games...

I'm still a little uneasy with everybody seeming to think once Reimer is back we're good to go. We are putting a crapload of responsibility on a kid that's played what? 50ish games? I like him, I hope he's what we saw for half a season last year but man, we sure seem to have all our goaltending...

Or play well even. Just saying he's due to do something other than give up three goals. Here's hoping for the under. Leafs can't outscore the opposition every freaken night. It'd be nice to see Monster win one for the team instead of the team having to get 4+ goals every night. I'd rather have...

I see a good night for the D and the Monster. It's Brodeurs first game back and I think we're due for a game that isn't close, so I'm going to go with 5-1 good guys.

Hey, it apparently lit a fire under Kessels butt. Besides, being the last All-Star taken really isn't all that big of an insult. I suspect about 600 or so NHLers would've been damn happy to suffer that particular indignity.

Why can't I like this guy? Has nothin to do with the trade. Has nothing to do with him being a Yank. Just something about his face or something irritates me. I want to like him, I think he's a better player then he gets credit for, I feel sympathy for all the crap he's had to put up with since...

I think the Rangers, Philly, The Habs, Tampa and Boston have a chance at slipping. First three are the most obvious. Tampa, I still think are a one line team and if anything happens to St.Louis or Stamkos, they's in big doo-doo. I also think Boston will suffer from the Cup hangover and no way...

Yep, new this year. It takes some getting used to. I guess it makes players easier to identify from pics? I don't mind it.
