Unfortunately as a Leafs fan I would've put money on Laine scoring the tying and winning goals when it was 4-3... there'll be games like this with that many kids in the line-up but that was a tough one to swallow. Hopefully the kids can change the usual "gut-punch" narrative some time soon...

I think everyone in the organization was disappointed with Bernier last year. Including Bernier. I hope he rebounds, he clearly has talent, but I think his time here was up and a fresh start with Freddy Andersen will be good.
