Looking at the chunk thread last year, they went 8-1-1 in chunk 8 which was basically what won them the division. I'm not sure if this team have another one of those in them, but it's certainly possible!

Frustrating end to the chunk, but if they can get 13 points or more in their remaining 3 chunks like they did in this one, I think they'll be okay. Still, I know Detroit is good this year, but going 0-2-2 against a divisional rival stings.

He's probably the closest thing we've had to Jake Muzzin since Jake Muzzin went down.

I still remember that one November a couple years ago where Jack Campbell was basically unbeatable. It's funny how they seem to do that every single year. We'll see what happens. At the end of April this year, the Jays were 14-16 and ended up winning the division. The Leafs look listless...

Stolarz looks like he's in midseason form. I think Macelli might find himself in the top 6 by the end of October. He looked great. McMann - Tavares - Nylander did not look good all night.

Going to this game tonight - will report anything interesting I see!

Got to meet him a couple years back at a fundraiser for the West End Phoenix. He was incredibly nice, and an amazing storyteller. RIP.
