I sorta expected this to happen. They needed some good news for their fans heading into this season. Good for them for opening their wallets for a great player.

In the time Melnyk has owned the Sens they've been to the Stanley Cup Finals and have won 7 rounds of playoff hockey. In that same time the Leafs have won 1 round of playoff hockey.  :-\

I think Orr is the most obvious.  80's you could argue Lemieux over Gretzky.

Then you need another D-man and it comes down to Lidstrom vs Karlsson and IMO Lidstrom is miles better defensively even if he gives up some offense to Karlsson.  So those choices were easy. 

Then you need a goalie and Hasek is the only one left from a decade that probably should have Roy in there as well instead of Selanne or Yzerman.

Crosby seems the logical choice out of the 10's.  And another forward obviously (I'd just put 20's and go McDavid)
