Damn, I started this thead *before* we signed Tavares.  ;D  Bumping now as we're only 10 days away.  Don't want to read too much into early season games, but the last 5 games of the first chunk should show us how the Leafs stack up against good teams.

Zee, not saying you jinxed them, but maybe next time don't make guarantees unless you are playing in the game.  Stupid NHL with it's stupid parity.
 
Was definitely expecting a "W" over the Sens.  Well, at least we're .500 no worse.  It's only a start.  Lots more "W" to come.  :)

I take full responsibility for this loss.  I had no idea that my predicting a win and colouring in green would put such a heavy burden on Freddie Andersen and turn him into a sieve.  I have to check my powers next time.

We are all thinking it.  Matthews shot versus Berniers glove hand.  We all know how we hope that plays out.  We just aren't saying it.
