Not sure why the Leafs having resigned McClement and Bodie, thought they were pretty dependable cheap players that played the way Carlyle liked? Do they want too much money?

Bodie is entirely replaceable and McClement doesn't play a well rounded enough game. The Leafs need more than a PK specialist.

I think Bodie for the same price wouldn't be a bad checking 4th line option. Dominic Moore is available again, supposedly only looking for 1-65-1.8 per year wouldn't be a bad 3rd liner either.

I don't think bringing Bodie back is necessarily a bad idea. He's just pretty easy to replace.

I don't mind either one if used in the correct roles, but yeah, probably not too difficult to replace.
