I know the Leafs are free-falling in the standings, but 90 minutes left before game starts and no game day thread...

I don't know why we called up Ashton to play with scrubs. Why not try him with Kessel? At least that would give a little more depth to our two 4th lines.
 
The Leafs are defintely due, but I get the feeling Gustavsson is going to get lit up like a Christmas tree tonight.

On a positive note: Marlies have just beaten Buldogs 2-1 in OT. Scrivens with 2 GAA in his last 3 games. His seasons GAA is 2.12 right now. Marlies sure know how to play defense.

He injured his hip a couple of games ago, so I'm pretty sure it's more of a case of limiting his minutes a little. He'll likely still see some time in the top-6 here and there.

Look at that defense. On paper they should be horrible. Beyond horrible.  Somehow the Flyers always find a way.

That happened last summer -- Canada digitized.  No more signal across the lake from TB for me.  Now, like the Flying Dutchman, I'm doomed to spend eternity wandering over the seas of the internet, looking for feeds....
