Nik's Fun Facts
-The visitors take their name from the Greek words, Philos and Adelphos, loosely meaning brotherly love and the English word Flyers which means something that can fly.
-The Flyers nickname "The Broad Street Bullies" derives from their arena's location on Broad Street, also known as the Avenue of the Arts, and the fact that their players are, historically, scumbags.
- Former GM Bobby Clarke is officially wanted for war crimes and set to be tried in absentia at the Hague this fall(note: needs fun fact checking)

The Leafs
-I mean, we all pretty much know what's what, right?

Apologies for not being quite up to the standard set by CtB but he asked someone else do it and I figured I'd take a crack.

Oh gee, we finally get to play?  4 day breaks are for the birds.

Get out there and get W tonight.

Is O'bryne playing this evening? I hope we dont take to long to start or we could be in some trouble this evening. Please win

I do like it that a bunch of the teams that had games in hand are even in GP with the Leafs now.

Mac skating with grabs and Frattin at morning skate, Komarov likely as well for tonight, Reimer starts, O'byrne not in TO yet, arrives later today so who knows if he starts but will wear #23.  Colborne at morning skate, McLaren as well although he had the flu yesterday(all via twitter).  My guess is we see McClement, Komarov and Orr on the 4th line, O'byrne next to Liles and McClaren, Colborne and Kostka sit tonight.

When did Colborne get brought up, I guess I missed that. I would like to see Komarov score. He has had no luck around the net.

Sounds like both MacArthur and Komarov won't be in the line-up today.

Hamilton will play and if McLaren (flu, game time decision) can't go, Colborne gets is how the beat reporters are saying it will go tonight.

Hamilton was sent down and called up right after the deadline, a move so he could be send down to the Marlies playoffs.

We may see Colborne in tonight. New Leaf Ryan O'Byrne will arrive this afternoon in TO, so he may be avaliable, possible that Liles-Kostka or Liles-Gardiner tonight are in.

Also Reimer and Manson are the starters for tonight's game.

Go Leafs Go, let's hammer the Flyers. Time to wake up JVR.
