Only line-up change seems to be Steckel in for Orr, who comes out with a lower body injury.

Sabres line-up (from GDT on a sabres board)

26 Thomas Vanek ("A") - 19 Cody Hodgson - 29 Jason Pominville ("C")
82 Marcus Foligno - 63 Tyler Ennis - 21 Drew Stafford ("A")
9 Steve Ott - 55 Jochen Hecht - 42 Nathan Gerbe
32 John Scott - 12 Kevin Porter - 36 Patrick Kaleta
(25 Mikhail Grigorenko)

24 Robyn Regehr - 57 Tyler Myers
10 Christian Ehrhoff - 52 Alexander Sulzer
33 TJ Brennan - 6 Mike Weber
(3 Jordan Leopold - 44 Andrej Sekera)

30 Ryan Miller
1 Jhonas Enroth

Do the parens mean Grigorenko is a likely scratch?  Huge mistake to bring up Gringorenko, burn a year of his contract, and not have him play ...

He's been a healthy scratch a few times now this season. 3 points in 14 games while getting 3rd/4th line ice-time. Almost no powerplay time too.

In the games I've seen, he's been pretty invisible. Definitely looking like a bad idea for the Sabres to have kept him with the big club this season.

That's an extremely weak lineup. Vanek, Pominville and Miller are the only reasons they've won as many games as they have.

Two excellent forwards and an all-star goalie? Yeah, probably...

I would've thought that dressing Orr and McLaren would be a good idea with Scott and Kaleta in the lineup.

Not exactly sure what Liles needs to do to get in the line-up either. The D as it was last game wasn't exactly stellar.

Orr is out with a lower body injury.

It will be interesting to see what effect a new coach has on the Sabres. Outside of Miller and their top line the rest of the team hasn't played well, with their defense looking particularly awful.

True that. You'd think after the loss Liles would get back in.

Edit: Maybe he his, as he's taking the pre-game warmup.

MacLean just said that if the Leafs win tonight, it will eliminate the Sabres from having any chance of catching us for the 8th spot.  That can't be, can it?

Fell asleep and missed the Tampa game. Hopefully not falling asleep tonight. Looks like a well timed sleep the other night, so I hope it's worth me staying awake tonight!

It certainly can't be remotely statistically true.  No doubt the Sabres have their troubles, but that's still a pretty outlandish statement at this time.
