Game Notes |
| BOS -Jeremy Swayman will likely start for the Bruins -Boston has won 5 straight games and that's placed them 3rd in the Atlantic conference at the moment. Obviously it's early in the season the gap between most teams in the East is very small but it's a surprisingly solid start for a team that finished 2nd last in the East last season and didn't have very high expectations going into this season |
| TOR -Anthony Stolarz will likely start for the Leafs -Simon Benoit was back at practice on Friday after missing the last game with an illness, so he's expected to get back into the line-up -Also at practice on Friday was goaltender Joseph Woll. Woll is expected to play game with the Marlies this weekend so he's not quite ready to start backing up here -The back-up situation before Woll return is a little up in the air at the moment. Cayden Primeau was placed on waivers Friday. Regardless of whether or not he gets claimed this could signal that Hildeby will be inserted as the teams back-up instead and possibly starting on the 2nd half of the back to back on Sunday |
