Good luck in the playoffs guys.  Anyone but the Penguins or Caps out of the East.  I have great memories of the early 2000's playoff battles between Leafs & Flyers.  Hopefully, we'll see another one in a few years.

I don't know much about Zaitsev, I think they might look for a top 2 type to play with Provorov.  As for Gritty...he was accidental genius. 

Since I was on the board for the GDT, thought I'd stop by here with a question.  What's the Leafs plans on fitting Marner's payday in under the cap.  Are they looking to move anyone this summer?    I would think that Marner & Point (Tampa) are offer sheet candidates. I could see the Flyers...

Marner has been the best player on the ice by far.  Great player.

JVR's having a good night.  He's been a mixed bag for us though.  Seems like he's great at puck deflections & banging home rebounds.  Doesn't do much else though.

Don't blame that Leafs for the win, the Flyers played like crap until they tied the game up, then when things were looking much better....they took a stupid penalty (although questionable call) in OT.

The Mason/Neuvirth pairing has done very well this season.  Mason has been very overworked the past 3 weeks because Neuvirth has been injured.  Tonight is Neuvirth first game back (as backup).

The Flyers are totally out of gas.  Too much of a mountain to climb the past month.  Not enough skill depth on the team either.  Will be good to have Konecny & Provorov on the team next year.

Gotta root for the Red Wings tonight also....regulation win vs. Bruins.

What's up old friend?  Shame we aren't talking about Sundin/Mogilny vs. Roenick/Kapanen, etc. in a first round playoff game.  Those were the days....good heated exchanges that went along with nasty playoff games.  The league (& the board) have changed a lot since those days.

Are any of you guys going to watch this game....besides me?  I'm hoping we don't blow this one.  If we lose this, it turns the Penguins game into a must win.

No problem.  I was looking at your starting lineup at the beginning of this thread.  Thought it was the same Pogge....different know it was a different guy.
