Phaneuf is fixable, with less time on ice and some coaching and above all....a goalie, we are in better shape.  With Kessel, he, imo, will always be a perimeter player with zero defensive skills. Trade him with whatever for a top six and continue the rebuild with extended visits to the playoffs...

Agreed, he put a few body checks in, with a few more than connolly, kessel.  They get the opportunity to hit and they don?t .... just not the BB kind of players we expected.

Kessel reminds me of Jimmy Carson, perimeter player, afraid to get hit.  Hope he turns into a real hockey player soon. I know the kid can score and talented that way. but.....

Mr. Cherry would be hard for any host to control. A bit of a bully imo. I get the charachter identification, but it has gone on too long. With Brown hurt, would it be a good idea to call up Rosehill or Orr to ensure Boston dosn?t have their way with the Leafs?  not sure if that is a good idea with the minimum four call up rule.  (i don?t understand that rule)

Each and every player needs to look in the mirror and play for himself and his teammates and the sweater he happens to be wearing right now. the time is now....no more excuses. Leadership in the dressing room needs to step up and support the whole idea of a winning culture. Enough of the losing...

I totally agree with BB?s  loyalty to his coach, players and the other GM?s in the league. He even defends Mr. Furguson with stating his picks are still there because they are worth keeping. This group is still developing and growing together. They still are the youngest team in the league and...

A big top 6 and a top notch goalie would be a great start for this team.  We have a truck load of minor league goalies and if BB dosn?t see that....why bother.
