Horseshit. 3 plus the ejection is wildly out of proportion to what other players have gotten for similar hits, particularly in the playoffs. Between this and the penalty disparity throughout the season, it?s hard not to think that certain decision-makers are biased against the team.

I don't think setting up to the Matthews line to get dominated in possession is a recipe for success. Matthews needs speed and skill on his wing to create space to make plays, not a giveaway machine like Komarov. He also needs to play better himself, but that's a separate issue. The line is...

Babcock's solution to Matthews' possession woes is to promote one of the worst players in the league (with atrocious possession numbers) to the first line. Completely indefensible. Somehow Babcock manages to keep surprising me with his almost surrealist perspective on how the line-up should look.

Leivo and Moore should play ahead of Komarov and Plekanec. Not a knee jerk reaction - Plekanec has been god awful playing with anyone not named Johnsson.
