Was at the game...Booth by far was the best player on the team.  Panik and Sill had decent games too.  Eric Brewer makes Hal Gill look like Bobby Orr.  His career is finito. If Tyler Blozak is on this team next year I'm going to throw up....the guy is beyond useless

Thing about Phil Kessel, put him in the right situation with the right line-mates and he will score 40-50 goals and be worth his contract.  Phaneuf on the other hand is exactly what he what he is: a 3-4 dman who will never be worth 7M on ANY team Phaneuf you are going to have to take...

Keeping this sh*tty core intact till the end of the season is probably the way to go.  These losers have given up, and are just floating for the rest of the year.  If you trade veterans and bring up young guys from the Marlies who actually TRY, you may win games down the stretch.  :o

I agree, he rode JVR and Kessel's coattails for years, parlayed that into a nice little contract...sun has set on him here.  He simply can't be relied on to play 5 on 5 on regular basis.  His defence is brutal, and his offence isn't good enough to make up for it
