    Leafs sign Jack Roslovic

Roslovic's a bit of a speedster too. 76th percentile in max skating speed, 97th percentile in 22+ mph bursts, 91st percentile in 20-22 mph bursts last season. An element that's been badly missing on the team recently.

    Leafs sign Jack Roslovic

I'd say it's doubtful Roslovic plays centre (except to cover for injuries perhaps).

    Nick Robertson traded to Pittsburgh

Right or wrong a large part of this fanbase has lowered their overall opinion on Robertson long before this trade happened.

    Leafs sign Jack Roslovic

Roslovic didn't make a lot of sense for a team with Robertson, Maccelli, and Domi all on it. Now though he makes a ton of sense. Especially as a right-handed shot. Being long-time friends with Matthews sure doesn't hurt either.

    2026-27 General Trades & Signings

There will definitely be bonuses that pushes it well above that.

    Nick Robertson traded to Pittsburgh

I thought he could maybe get a 3rd, that's the range of what an offer sheet could have been. But a 3rd is also what we gave up for Maccelli last year and Maccelli had much better stats.

    Nick Robertson traded to Pittsburgh

This felt inevitable. He wasn't playing in the top-6 and the 3rd line needed a different look.

    Markstrom to Florida

Well at least this trade shows that if we ever needed to get rid of an overpaid and over the hill goalie with years left on his deal someone out there would probably take him.

    Leafs re-sign Stecher [2 years, $1.35mil AAV]

Stecher's a solid vibes guy. His play undoubtedly fell off as the season wore on but he was also playing almost top-4 minutes for a lot of that, so his role should/could be significantly different this season. Big question now would be how this effects Villeneuve. Is there room for both on the...

2026-27 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion | Official: Sundin & Chayka to lead front office

His high(ish) qualifying offer made this a tough choice but I would have liked to see Maccelli back under a different coach next season. He played at a 45-point pace last season, and a 50-point pace once he escaped from Berube's bizarre month long benching. His 5-on-5 points per 60 minutes rate...

2026-27 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion | Official: Sundin & Chayka to lead front office

Well I'm slightly more optimistic than most about his ability to bounce back from this seasons performance, but obviously that doesn't change that he'll be 38 years old when the season starts and wants a long-term deal. It'll all come down to the contract.

2026-27 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion | Official: Sundin & Chayka to lead front office

Similar to a lot of guys heading to market right now, I like the player but really don't want much to do with his likely contract. One projection source has him over $6mil with some term.

Another round of Trade Nylander talk? Oh ya, we're so back.

    NHL Draft 2026

Definitely wasn't getting to our next one.

    NHL Draft 2026

    Yeah first weird pick.

    NHL Draft 2026

Looking at guys who are currently falling Alessandro Di Iorio would seem like a solid pick at 85.

    NHL Draft 2026

Corey Pronman had him ranked 25th overall in his rankings.
