I don't buy into this line of thinking. There's no reason to not expect improvement after a 9 year rebuild. The whole "Settle down Leaf fans, your expectations are too high" thing is getting on my nerves.

I think a good manager assesses what kind of team he has, and wants to develop, and then hires a coach that follows that philosophy. Sounds obvious but we've seen coaches try to bang square pegs into round holes before. With RC, he's just stubborn.
