All good points. I think its worth mentioning that the 10 minute implosion happened as soon as the Leafs decided to defend the lead and stop attacking. RC played his checkers heavily and gave them the job of staying back, trapping and just dumping it out. That has been a weakness all season long.

Impossible not to let expectations rise with every win. As much as I tell myself to not be overly disappointed with a loss, I'm just fooling myself. The Leafs have the momentum here...however the Bs will make a game of this...I really don't expect them to just lay down and die.

I agree that the turnover problem is a ramification of the system. If it was only 1  or 2 players, Carlyle would have something to harp on players about. If its not working on a team level RC, make a change on your whiteboard.

Yup. I was totally disgruntled when Burke was named GM. Hated his ego and always felt it would stand in his way of making the right choices. However... His choice to call out these scumbags gave me a new respect for the man.

Good point. I have such a disorder and its utterly paralyzing. It takes me days to recover from those situations. I never truly do.

Absolutely no expectations going into the playoffs. I do have some for the summer though and next season however. This team has some good things going, picking up another top liner or 2 will push them into the next level IMO. Neither the B's or the Leafs are hot going in. Bad news for both...
