Any chance the league negotiates the amnesty clause like NBA just did?

I still think Kessel's defensive game will improve. If NJ can turn a lazy floater like Kovalchuk into a solid two way forward then there is hope for Kessel. Also Mogilny became a good two way forward later in his career as well.

This pretty much guarantees Reimer will be a beast.

Colangelo has been at the helm of mediocrity for 6 years now and MLSE doesn't seem to mind.

I think Fletcher took the "clean the house" ideology way too far. You don't clean the house by shipping good, young players for stiffs.
