Guys, I'm starting to get concerned that Jarnkrok isn't going to keep his 82 goal pace.

Since the team can't sit Pacioretty at this point, does anyone consider swapping Robertson in for McMann? (Robertson's always been forced to play his off-wing for whatever reason, so perhaps this is as good an opportunity as any, to try him in the playoffs)

Both things might be true. He may have re-aggravated whatever is lingering, and he may be a choke artist.

Best case scenario for the psyche of the Leafs is probably 0-0 until late in the third, and then scoring the GWG with a handful of minutes to spare.

I think one of the complaints I have in general (not specifically with these line combos) is that McMann doesn't do enough "heavy forecheker" stuff nearly as much as fans would like. Perhaps Berube can bring that out of him more; we shall see.

Timmins actually finished the game ~90% xG and was +2 in a 6-2 loss. He's the reverse Brett Lebda!! The other stat line that surprised me is: Robertson was on the ice for 1 GF (his own) and 0 GA (perfect on the night). Somehow Knies was on the ice for 4 goals against. It was a tupsy turvy game.

Time to see whether Berube (Savard?) picks up on that and commits to the switch going forward.
