The Leafs didn't give up many grade A chances yesterday. Both Ottawa's goals were deflections on Leafs D (to be fair, all goals but Domi's were). I like that Knies is unleashed and being a difference maker he is being very noticiable so far in this series.

Very Noticiable were: Tavares, Knies, Domi, Stolarz. I will give the nod to Tavares and Knies. Not a great game, but a great result.

I like that the Sens are trying to be tough and finish checks (and cross checks to the heads), and I loved the Leafs response, they stand up for each other and Reaves is sitting out of the lineup. Go Leafs Go!!!

This was a very different game 1 PP is hot from the start, PK was also good. The core 4 produced at least 2 points each. Ottawa took very stupid cross checks to the head penalties, wondering if that will turn to be something by players safety. Anyway, keep up Leafs! Go Leafs Go!!!

Even better! So a Leafs win of any fashion will put them ahead of LA. If Leafs lose in OT or SO and LA wins it, they hold the tie breaks against the Leafs.

And 1 point tonight will ensure home ice advantage against all teams but Washington, Winnipeg, Vegas and L.A. 2 points combined with a LA regular Loss and they would have home ice against L.A as well.

Ovie about to break Gretzky's record is impressive. If AM continues on his 9 year avarage pace, he wil also break that record in 9 years (and in fewer games played)... He (and Marner) could be the best duo on Maple Leaf history (imagining they resign Marner and won't let him simply walkaway).
