I can't see Dion going anywhere.  The Leafs want him, he wants to stay and he is playing pretty well at the moment.  There is no one behind him that can do the things he does. I didnt see a bad player on the ice in the 3rd period which was nice for a change.

Nice to see the Leafs play with poise and control against a good team.  Hope this is a turning point for this team.

True.  I wish he could stay as I don't think one crap year should end his time with the Leafs.  I expect tomorrow we will find out what Nonis has done and I can't see it been anything but exciting.

Not to derail the thread, but they were saying Boston were really surprised he wanted to leave and one of the radio guys text someone really close to Thorton and the guy replied that there is something and we will know in a few days.  Wants to be closer to family perhaps?  Would he sign for less...

I like this trade a lot especially if they can resign him for a good rate.  Some interesting comments of TSN radio regarding Horton wanting out of Boston.  Bozak's days could be numbered now .

I have no problem with the current rooster at center other than Kadri sucks at faceoffs.  I think the most pressing issue is getting another top 4 d man.  We spent to much time in our own zone and Phanuaf would only get better if some of the load was taken off him.

I like Grabbo as player and has funny interviews so I hope he plays much better next season.  I would rather another top D man come in instead of a big center as I thought the Leafs speed up the middle is why we competed better against Boston than NY and Pitts did.  Im not against signing Bozak...

Good points Zee.  Although Grabs had a poor season in terms of scoring a lot due to a change in role but did he have the best defensive stats for a forward at even strength?  Sorry in advance if that is a lazy question.  I really hope he is better next season.

If the Leafs can land a bonifide C for the 1st line and retain Bozak, I would would like Bozak to have the role of shutting down the oppositions best line.  Surely Grabs has more of a offensive upside than Bozak?  But then where do you put Kadri.

Exactly.  Frattin has only been a star for the Marlies in the playoffs.  Its not like he has turned the hockey world upside down with his play.  To say he is the next Dustin Brown is like saying Bozak is the next Sundin.  He might get to play next to Dustin Brown tops.

I could see Hamilton replacing Frattin in the lineup.  I think Carlye likes his work ethic.
