Just got in for the last bit of the 3rd period and was surprised to see it 0 - 0. Watching Matthews score and then Patches was fantastic. From what I saw, the Leafs were the better team. Sunday will be interesting to say the least. The Leaf players came out and played against the defending...

that guarantees us a Cup right?

mine too...

I am really liking OEL. He plays with a bit of snarl, has some offfensive ability and has good hockey IQ. So glad he is a Leaf. I had no idea how good Tanev was. If figured it was all hype where every RHD no currently a Leaf is the best player out there. McCabe is better than I imagined.

Toronto Maple Leafs

I haven't been able to watch but this effort sounds pathetic

I wasn't able to watch much of the game but what I did see, I was concerned that the Leafs were usually not connecting with passes and the shots were missing the net. I think I saw Matthews miss 4 shots and then I saw a stat that he missed 8 at that point in the game. I hope they are learning...

I couldn't tell if Tavares got there in time as my feed took down the clock

Just started watching as I was wondering why the Leafs were down by a goal but the Leafs have been looking good scoring 3...weird

As foolish as the penalty assessments were on that play, we could have lost a great player there who already had a concussion in the playoffs. Where's Reaves??? Oh right...he was given a match penalty and 5 game suspension for making a hit to the head of an opposing player...

Watching Skinner and it is baffling. He looks great and then looks awful. We have had some Leaf goalies like that. Having the 2 goalies we have now I had forgotten how bad it was for us in the past and how bad Skinner played that shot. There was so much space on the far side when it was the...

I was just thinking that as well

YES!!!

I don't think we would miss Nylander as much as some think

Marner!!

I feel that both Leaf goals should have counted...

I was saying that to my wife.  It was an absolutely a set play and no LUCKY bounce.  I could see it develop as soon as Pastanak dropped it to the dman and took off.  I was surprised that Rielly didn't turn and try to obstruct him like th Bruin dmen were doing to the Leaf forwards all series. I...

:D That is an awesome question!

I don't think either Nylander or Marner can be traded for anything to free up their cap hits

I just hope the Leafs don't meet NJ in the playoffs.  Wow, did they ever make us look bad!
