The Leafs definitely need more saves from their goalies... the save percentages have been lower than the league average and that isn't how you chase a championship... or even get out of the first round in this division..

I think the Leafs must be considering a goalie pickup... this team looks so strong they can't miss the opportunity to make the playoff run with subpar goaltending...I had a thought that they might look at Anton Khudobin for insurance in net given his past playoff success... but it looks like his...

I liked Joey Anderson in for Clifford... probably an upgrade on Ritchie too...thought he looked pretty good in his limited minutes... same for Dahlstrom.. he looked calm for a guy in his first Leaf game.. the team can use him and Biega when a d man is out..

the coaching changes factor into it as well... special teams are improved...

could be the first of a few moves... lose Ritchie and trade a defenceman...

The Leafs are playing well.. but Simmonds ?.. lots of chances with no finish... and Engvall doesn't make much happen... who could they slot into those spots for a try ?

it looks like Petruzzelli may get a Marlie start after his callup... if he can handle the AHL level and Kallgren recovers quickly it will be interesting to see what the organization does with Hutchinson...

Agreed... they work well together so far... and I think the regular ice time will make them better... and that gives the Leafs some options...

it wouldn't surprise me if both got claimed... but I hope they pass through... both could do spot duty during the season...

I'm hoping for some Leaf news during this quiet period... are Reilly and Kerfoot staying ? .. maybe another PTO offered ? or is this it until camp?

it will be interesting to see how management deals with Reilly... if you can get a decent trade for him do you move Sandin up with Brodie?... would that be a huge downgrade?...
