The nice thing about this is that if I buy tickets, and the game is -40, or blizzardy, I'm only out $50.  I though about trying to go to the game in Buffalo, but Buffalo in January is cold.  Hamilton in January is cold too, but for $50, I'll take the chance.

I hope he shows it in the regular season.  It seems to me Caputi showed he was a topprospect in the preseason last year, and Stalberg/Hanson before that.

The top two prospects in either list (excluding Kadri and Reimer), Colborne and Gardiner, were both acquired by Burke in trades.

Well said Nik.  The reason we have Lupul, Phaneuf, Giguere (I realize he's gone) and others is because they were "overpaid". The only guy on the team that I think is "overpaid" by either definition is Komisarek.  Management overvalued him, as a UFA, and overpaid.  He has done little to live up...

I think that you're right.  I expect a good season from Gus in the backup role.  There is a lot less pressure than ever.  He is no longer the "goalie of the future" waiting for his turn.  He is the backup.  Hopefully the health holds up, and he can start 20-25 as a solid #2 guy.

I used to really like Leafs Lunch, back when it was with Marek.  He seemed to steer the show, and Watters contributed stories along the way. He knew everything about anyone who played in the 70s.  I haven't listened a lot/at all since those days.

I like this jersey.  I'm not quite old enough to remember the era first hand, which makes it a little more appealing to me.
