I'd have to agree. We generated 15 shots (or whatever it was) and lost 6-0 to Columbus.  We have better players then them. There's something fundamentally wrong here.  We can't continously be outplayed and out chanced game after game without their being something inheritently wrong.

They had like 5 fights that first game against MTL.  I haven't seen too many that matter since.  Certainly not from Orr. I agree entirelty though, they've (the fights.... and Mclaren/Orr) have contributed nothing.

Last nights 3rd/OT was just a culmination of how poorly we've been playing this season (or was it last game against Columbus)? Continously getting outshot, outchanced, out worked, eventually catches up to you.  Our goalies won't be posting .940 SV%'s all season.... I figured once they taper off...

Carlyle clearly alienates certain players.  He did it with Lupul in Anaheim.  He wasn't too fond of Grabovski and obviously isn't too fond of Gardiner now (or Trevor Smith it looks like).  Stuff like this is normal I guess, and happens with the vast majority of coaches.  But dammit, it sucks.

But for Ranger/Fraser?  One one hand Carlyle says it 'boggles his mind they can't play with pace'... yet on the other he sits Gardiner in favour of Fraser.  I don't get it. And why Smith is not playing in favour of 2 face punchers is beyond me. I'm losing it here boys!

Maybe it's just me but I put Letang as a lock as well.  He was over a point a game last season and very well could have won the Norris.  I agree with your other 4. I think there are 2 spots up for grabs on D and I'd wager Seabrook and Subban do have the inside track on them.
