Considering the 7 years and $5M+ salary I'd say this will go down as the absolute worst contract ever given out by the Maple Leafs.  He may be a little better/useful than Komisarek but the added 2 years and $800K more doesn't justify it. Thankfully the cap will likely be going up...

I don't understand it.  The Sharks aren't tough.  They don't take any penalties.  They score a lot.  And they are highly skilled. This is exactly the type of game where you SIT the Mclarens and Orrs of the world... not play them both.

Gleason right now is Komisarek bad.  I dont know why the heck we would do this when we finally got rid of that albatross only to take on another. I'd rather just have Liles play, at least he can still skate.
