Maybe that's the difference between me and some other fans...I actually want to see them start to win to get the winning feeling back in the dressing room and around the team. 

Good points I agree he may use it as leverage and not ideal to move when you have a family etc...regardless I don't think its that common that players turn down higher salaries.  I would say the majority (90% of the time) the athlete chooses the place that is paying more. Anyways my frustration...

Sure but you have to admit if we offered someone like Justin Williams an extra $250 000 a year over Washington he would have took it.  Players for the most part go to the team that pays the most....just the way it is....

I never heard anything about the Leafs even trying to sign them.  I would feel better knowing they at least tried. I agree with the earlier post....St.Louis would be nice right about now. He works hard in all areas of the ice, proven winner and would be a good role model for the kids.

I don't understand why we aren't trying for a proven veteran for leadership and to help the young guys learn what it takes to win.. Someone like Justin Williams or Brad Richards.  Both have won the Conn Smythe trophy and both were available at a very reasonable price. They need someone like that...

Reimer is the the better goalie! Nothing against Bernier but I never understood why Nonis felt the need to pick him up in the first place. Reimer brought the Leafs to the Playoff for the first time since 2004 and helped take Boston (the Eastern Conference Champs) to game 7 OT.

They played a prevent at the end and all that often does is prevent you from winning. Refs were brutal too...one call in the 3rd (there was a few to choose from) and we would have won...

Well at least we are getting more shots on net and more scoring chances now. 32 and 47 shots the last couple games tells me we have a shot to win the series. Gardiner and Frattin in the line up have definitely helped! I think they should consider inserting JM Liles on D.
