You can't forget that when a team gets down early bc of bad goals, the other team will play defensive hockey to defend the lead, which makes it harder to score.  It's a crap situation.

Just out of curiosity, what would the team look like right now if it chose another path? What would be so different? We would have Seguin instead of Kessel. We still have one the youngest teams in the NHL. I'm just curious how different the team would look in your eyes.

I thought they played very well in this stretch of games... except for the goalies.. :)

The way the standings look, it really seems like 8th is the best they can get this year. That will be one tough 1st round, that's for sure.

Connolly is a strange one. I can seem him bouncing back next year.  I just don't understand why he's so bad this year.. he shows random flashes of greatness, but it's like he doesn't have that fire/desire in him. He really looks like he doesn't care.
