He was a fan favourite for Kalamazoo in the ECHL with a physical style of play & scored 20 or so goals too. I?m sure he?ll do well over here, although I did laugh when I read Panthers had signed him.

I?d say that seven is doable. Need to hit the floor running and not take them lightly. Matthews is likely to be pumped up for this one.

That pretty much sums me up; I'm a fan of shoulder patches although alternate jersey from a few years ago didn't have them & that was my favourite jersey, so maybe they'll grow on me.

I think that's pretty much how I sum up the trade; it didn't blow me away & didn't have the "wow" factor but I like the fact that JVR has more upside than Schenn.
