Terrific play by Marner in drawing a penalty.  Now we are going look forward to Leo playing half the PP.

What a terrific game to watch.  This team does so many things well (and unexpected at times).  Freddie certainly came up big after his little miscue at the end of the2nd. Watching JVR skate on the shoot-out was reminiscent of a younger version of Jason Allison.

Well Polak has had a couple of rushes and even goals this year that were for lack of a better word a vision .🙂

Hyman's penalty may be an example of his lack of offensive talent.  He just doesn't have the hands or vision especially compared with Austin and Willie  IMHO.  But he is a favourite of Babcock's and will never be sent to the 4th line it seems.

What another terrific offensive instinct by JVR especially in boxing out Chara.  Chara is really slow out there and is prone to staying out too long on some shifts IMO.

Another terrific period by Matthews and Nylander. But with Babcock putting Polak and Borgman out for seemingly every third shift it is going to be a long game (certainly for us Leaf fans).
