The defensive liabilities on the team may be distracting to Reimer.  He did make some unbelievable saves during the season and in the playoffs.  Tighten up the defence, reduce the turnovers will allow Reimer to focus on his job.

Leafs make way too many mistakes and have a hard time clearing the puck.  Defence and centre needs upgrades. 

It's a good thing Nonis did not trade for Luongo - Leafs may not have made the playoffs and this thread would not exist.  Good for Nonis. 

If I was a Leafs media person, I would ask Chara a question that as a Leaf fan we need an answer.  Chara, what was going through your mind as Lupul was scoring a PP goal while you were sitting in the penalty box? 

If the Leafs use their physicality and speed, the Bruins don't have a chance.  When was the last time we could use the adjectives physicality and speed to describe the Leafs?  Can't wait to hear the fans.

I thought Carlyle and Nonis to a point were major reasons why the Leafs made the playoffs.  RC is more willing to change things around and bench or sit players when they don't perform even if they have big salaries.  I believe if Burke was still GM, Leafs would have ransomed the team for Luongo...

Just ask the Leaf bashers to read this out loud and preferably surrounded by a bunch of people:  I AM WE TODD IT.  I AM SOFA KING WE TODD IT.

I'd rather see Kessel and the other Leaf players focus and concentrate on the game rather than having to answer idiotic questions from the media.  We had to put up with stupid media all year - things like the Leafs needed to trade for Luongo or trade for a #1 centre to make the playoffs.  Leafs...

If the Bruins can't eliminate the Leafs in 6 or less, Leafs win in 7m but I am hoping Leafs do it in 6 or less.

I am not worried about the Leafs playing the Bruins - the Bruins are slumping and I think the Leafs were coasting near the end to rest or I hope that was Carlyle's plan.  The Leafs can learn a lot from playing the Bruins and have the potential of taking the Bruins out.

I am still giddy about the Leafs making the playoffs.  It will bring back fond memories of hearing the crowd roar when the  players come out in the first game at home.

Maybe just this one because of how special it is putting the Leafs in the playoffs, and for the first time in years I got to wear my Leafs sweater with pride and a huge smile.

From what I saw, the Ottawa player pushed Komarov into Anderson.  Any contact between Komarov and Anderson was the result of that push.  In any case, glad that non-call did not cost the team the win.

My apologies, but I was assuming the Leafs lose their next 3 games, so the 92 or 93 points would be their minimum points prorated to 82 games.  But it is quite possible and I hope it happens, if the Leafs win their final 3, that would be 104 points prorated to2 games.

And one other thing.  No one gave the Leafs a chance of making the playoffs at the before the season.  Everyone thought the Leafs would be near the bottom, including myself.

The way Montreal is playing, home ice advantage and a series win are definite possibilities for the Leafs.
