I'm not crazy about that contract but we're not very far apart on that. That deal won't age well. But Chayka did what his owners told him to do and that overpayment was the going rate.

All this fuss over this 36 year old goalie while he seems to have had one respectable playoff run in his 16 year NHL career. He's only made the playoffs 3 times. I do not understand the NHL talent assessment of this position. His agent could be a great used car salesman.
