Seems to me that if you want to encourage good discussion, attacking other thoughts from long term posters with needless sarcasm and ridicule isn't the best way to go about it.

That's exactly what I was thinking - to me it was even borderline selfish. Another player could have been on the ice and in the play faster than Reilly getting a stick at the end of a long 3 on 3 shift. Made zero sense. But hey, since it worked out, it's water under the bridge I guess

I think perhaps the refs are confused because it appears the leafs have been on the pp for much of the game.

To be honest, I thought they played well enough to win all the games they've played since the edmonton series. They looked a touch tired at times in Van, but they had their chances.
