I agree the questions were stupid but there are better ways of answering them. And, hey, he still is a senior advisor  ;) As for Simmons and the idiot media, I agree. That was the best part of his tenure.

I can't see anyone having a problem with him taking Simmons down. However at least twice he answered a question with "That's not my problem now" which comes across as petulant. And one of the questions was how to recognize the fans coming out of the lockout.

The Leafs drafted Tuukka Rask who is poised to be the starting goaltender for the Boston Bruins. I'm sure most of us would like to have that precious little trade back. The problem isn't just not drafting impact players, it's holding on to them long enough for them to develop into impact players.

He actually wasn't playing that well before the concussion concussion-like symptoms. He had wins, but they were against weak opponents. Hopefully, it was more of a sophomore slump than the rest of the league figuring out his weaknesses.

I understand Burke's position and I agree with it for the most part. However, these are the deals that players are getting from other teams. Refusing to give them out means that the Leafs will not be in competition to sign these players - for good and bad. As the years go by, we will see those...
