You would still put Ward in a top 10?

I think you have to take out Harding as he seems to be struggling with his health issues. And what to do with Fleury? Anyway, if that's the top 10, the skill-set falls off dramatically after 4 (or three).

Just out of interest (and as a way to pass the time) who would you say are the top 10-15 Canadian goalies?

Of course it's true. But that response was to the fact that other countries were down to inexperienced goalies so why are we complaining?

Not surprised that other countries are well down their depth charts but I think we always assume Canada can ice 2 or 3 competitive teams as compared to other countries. I still find it hard to believe (and I mean no disrespect to them) that Reimer/Scrivens was the best they could do.

I don't think you're wrong, but I wonder who else was available. I'm assuming the Olympic backups were not interested. I think Canada has a depth problem in goal.

The word "mind-boggling" seems appropriate. It's certainly the one I'm using right now.

Obviously (and that goes for Leaf fans too ;)). What surprised me was the force of their reaction - and the fact that they all felt the same way, no hesitation.

We have friends who are Winnipeg Jets fans (and season ticket holders). That's my biggest take-away from this game. The Blues are one of the best teams in the league. And the Leafs are not. In fact, they don't even appear to belong in the same league.

Watching this game on the Colorado feed. Their trivia question of the game was: what year did the Leafs last win the Stanley Cup? Does that even qualify as 'trivia' anymore? Really?

And Jeff Skinner. I've always been disappointed that the Carolina announcers don't play a clip of "SKINNNNNEEEERRR!" whenever he scores.

That's the question for the ages, isn't it? He's not serving any purpose out there without his stick, so it's not as if the team will suffer from being short-handed while he goes to the bench for a stick. But we routinely see players stay out there without a stick, hoping, I guess, that...
