I like this deal, it's a player being paid what he might be worth, Holl was used in the playoffs over him so he should be making less. Of TO's young d-men, Dermott, Sandin and him I thought Lilly looked the best. I don't think Sandin has proven himself a more valuable player, but that's my take.

I agree, playoff series/Cup wins would be nice but having an eighty two game successful season is necessary above all else to me. Not winning in the playoffs hurts mostly because I hate to watch the Leafs lose, period.
