First time in awhile the Mathews line has been quite.

Spezza has been far and away the leafs best player tonight.  Only one with any energy. 

Because they are at home.  They are a bottom feeder when they play at home. 

The effort level at home is unacceptable.  Coming off of two good road wins, they come home to play one of the lesser teams in the league and bring zero energy.  It?s extremly concerning. 25 home games and only 12 wins.  You can?t make the playoffs that way.  The first 30 minutes have been...

Another really good penalty kill. 

What a horrible penalty call.  Every single game the leafs are cheated by the refs. 

Leafs have had horrible injury luck this year. 

Spezza end to end.  What a play.  Didn?t score but nice play.  Really uninspired start to this game, as was predictable based on their play at home, but maybe a play like that will get them going.  Hard to understand the way they play in Toronto.

6 guys on the ice without it even being a line change.  Simply not paying attention to the game.

Off to the first commercial break.  Not a great start to the game. Hutch makes some good stops though.  Boys need to get engaged.  This has been the trend at home, lackadaisical and turnover prone.
