Berube is stubborn. he is committed to this dump and chase system. I get why he wants to do it, teams that retrieve and cycle wear teams out, the leafs just don’t have those types of players to play that system. Because of it the team spends a lot of time chasing the opposing team. I guess...

Shows you that the NHL has a long way to go to keep accurate stats.  Tavares hasn?t won a PP faceoff since December. 

The Matthews line has been pinned in most of their shifts.  Not what you?re wanting there.

What a gross PP.  Never got a chance because Tavares can?t win a faceoff.  I just can?t understand why he is the one taking the faceoffs, he can?t win them. 

Tavares refuses to win a face off on the PP.  leafs start in their own end 90 percent of the time.

When was the last time the leafs beat the yotes in Toronto?

Dubas has to find a trade partner for Kapanen.  He does the same thing every time.  Fly down the win and then turn back and usually make a bad pass and turns it over. 

Better than the leafs than.

Leafs with zero effort in the first two minutes. 

Wait. Yotes are on a back to back. This is supposed to be a guaranteed win. What a garbage start.  Leafs at home might as well just start down 1-0.  They never start on time.  Waiting for the excuse that leafs had two days off and that was too much.

What about Monday night when they quit playing in the 3rd?  This is 4 straight games where they played well in the first two periods.  And then in the 3rd they were awful.  That?s a trend.  It?s cost them 4 points in the standings. 

Is your point that every team playing a back to back should be outshot 16-1 in the 3rd?  This wasn?t about being tired.  It was about being scared.
