  1. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

Good place to start him though.  He can PK with JayMc, log 10'ish minutes for a few games until ready to move up.
  2. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

Yup, but he wouldn't be the first player to step back into games on playoff game 1. I would be happy to have him on the 4th line vs. Orr or anyone else who might take that job.
  3. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

Could be, but I would be quite surprised if he wasn't in for the playoffs.

    Leafs @ Sharks - Mar. 11th, 10:30pm - SN, SN 590

The back to back had a lot more to do with it.  I don't think the team intentionally doesn't show up because Reimer is the goalie.
  5. Corn Flake

    Morgan Rielly

I think if you did the 2012 draft all over again right now, the top 5 would be: 1. Murray 2. Galchenyuk 3. Trouba 4. Rielly 5. Yak

    Leafs @ Ducks - Mar. 10th, 10:00pm - LeafsTV, TSN 1050

Going west and getting 3 hours extra sleep is never a bad thing.
  7. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

I'm reeeeeaaalllly hoping he agrees to a 1-year extension with the idea that he can use it to prove he's fully recovered.
  8. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

He is officially worse than Steve Simmons.  Just a seems like a miserable guy.

    General Leafs Talk: Post-Olympics Edition

Sure.  A trade scenario would be a completely different animal than a buy out. It honestly wouldn't shock me to see him moved to a team like Edmonton who wanted him badly in the off season.  He has a modified NTC, but seems to be a proud enough guy to recognize if things aren't working he...

    General Leafs Talk: Post-Olympics Edition

Okaaay but we aren't the Flyers here.. as pessimistic as many are about Clarkson going forward, you've got to give it at least one more season before doing something like that.
  11. Corn Flake

    David Clarkson

    *bangs head on wall*
  12. Corn Flake

    David Clarkson

I'm really perplexed by it. I'm not even concerned about the points and as you said, just go out there and Komarov guys and he could have a pretty decent impact on the game, points or no points.  I think a big part is the refs are looking for him a lot and he's a bit too wary of it.  I think...
  13. Corn Flake

    David Clarkson

Someone has to be at least a little bit optimistic. The other side is very well covered. :) I wish he would go out and slam guys into the boards every shift.
  14. Corn Flake

    David Clarkson

I agree.. give it time. This season is a total bust for sure, but I think next season he comes around.  I think he needs the right centre to excel. He's not working with Kadri. I think he will work well with Bolland and looked a bit better with Holland. He had a good 2-3 chances last night in...

Kessel signs long term extension (8 yrs, 64M, 8M AAV)

It's true.  Also, blogging about the Leafs is half the job of being the GM too, so I've heard.

Kessel signs long term extension (8 yrs, 64M, 8M AAV)

Yes of course we could. *shifty eyes*
  17. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

Totally agree you don't *have* to spend it, but if Bolland is the right guy to keep/add/whatever, then I'm saying you can do it without having to do crazy things to make him fit.
  18. Corn Flake

    Dave Bolland

I don't think that's the "real" question.. that's the question you are most concerned with.  Why does having say $24 mil on your #1 line (like SJ has, roughly) which restricts you to spend $6 mil on your 3rd line become better than having more balanced spending throughout like the Leafs can...
