They have the highest SH% in the league, but their process under the hood hasn’t been very good. They’ve scored around 12 more goals than “expected” and are shooting over 12% at 5v5. No team shot even 11% last season, and the Leafs were under 10%. Expect that to regress.

I think we're at the bottom now, unless someone else gets hurt we won't get worse, once Woll and Tanev get back things will get better.

It could get worse for at least a period of time. The shooting % isn't likely to last. But beyond that, they're awful defensively. As they try to tighten up defensively, it is likely to suck the air out of their offense for at least a while.
