Agree with all of this what really burns is that most our best forwards have 5-10 years of age on theirs.  To just roll them 18 min and let Boston match is so bad I don't think I'll ever get over it from Babcock.  Bruins are laughing at just how easy this game was.

Finally a shake-up on the Hyman/Brown combo, those guys have their strengths but together it was not working, with or without Matthews.  Also interesting to see how Nylander and Marner perform in different spots.

Kadri's tough, but when Bozak and JVR as playing like they do sometimes (last night) they look replaceable with Leivo/Marlies today...which is good news for the future I guess.

The cap is an issue here too, with the AAV of the contract and front-loading.  The only way it could really work is if there was absolutely no front-loading, and I think the league would still want more in return (ie. if players get an out then teams might want an out...).  It's all give and...
